The concept of Forest School has been growing in the UK for over 20 years but it has never been more essential. With mental well-being at the forefront of everyone's agenda, offering children opportunities to explore, play and learn while safely taking risks in an outdoor setting is vital.

Bright Bug Forest School is a member of the Forest School Association and follow their guiding principles and codes of good practice to embrace the true ethos of Forest School.

Here at Bright Bug Forest School we are experienced at planning and delivering inspirational programmes based on the children’s particular needs and the settings desired outcomes.

We have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and ensure that our programmes can link to it in a playful, fun and adventurous way, whilst at the same time embracing the holistic approach of the true Forest School ethos.

We are experienced in working with children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour, many of whom benefit enormously from the natural setting and supportive approach that we offer. The Forest School approach is known to raise levels of motivation for learning, helps to develop concentration, speaking and listening skills as well as providing opportunities to improve social skills and self-esteem.

We welcome enquiries from schools and other organisations interested in providing Forest School.
